We receive information you provide when you contact us, create an account, save a design, submit a product review or place an order. This can include your name, email, contact details, messages, uploaded artwork, order details and delivery address. Technical information, such as network and browser information, may be recorded for sessions, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
We use these details to respond to enquiries, manage accounts, prepare and save personalized designs, administer orders and help resolve problems. Relevant order and design information is used to prepare your selected piece. Technical information helps keep the website and studio working safely.
The studio uses your text and photographs to prepare the engraving preview. Some preparation happens in your browser. When a photo needs server processing, a smaller working copy is sent to our server to isolate the subject, and temporary processing files are cleared after the task. This does not delete artwork that you subsequently save or attach to an order.
A device draft may remain in your browser. Saving a design sends its artwork and preview to our server. Your account library requires sign-in, but anyone who receives a separate studio share link can open that shared copy. Keep links private if the design contains personal information. Removing an entry from your account library does not automatically erase a previously shared snapshot or artwork retained with an order.
Necessary cookies and browser storage support sign-in, the basket, studio sessions, language preferences and device drafts. You can manage cookies in your browser, but blocking necessary storage may prevent these features from working. Providers supporting hosting, site security and email delivery may handle the information needed to provide those services.
A product review may display your review text, rating and public display name after moderation; avoid including private information in it. Our contact page offers Google Maps. Loading or interacting with the map connects to Google and may share technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Google’s privacy policy applies to that service, and other external links have their own policies.
Different records serve different purposes. Account entries, saved snapshots, enquiries and order records are retained to support the relevant service and, where needed, accounting, legal obligations or disputes. You can ask us to access, correct or delete information associated with you. We may need to verify your identity and explain any records that must be retained; a deletion request is not an automatic cancellation of an order.
Upload only photographs and artwork you have the right to use. Do not include passwords, payment-card details or sensitive documents in the studio or contact form. This notice may be updated as our services change; the current version is available on this page.
